Ni baada ya kukabidhi jengo la zahanati katika kata Bisheke, kijiji Kiyebe tarafa Kimwani wilayani Muleba.

 Mkuu wa kanda ya Kagera Bi. Pudensiana Rwezaula, (picha chini aliyesimama) amesema kuwa mradi wa jengo hilo umekamilika kwa kiwango kizuri ukiwa na tank la maji, huku akisikitishwa na kuchelewa kukamilika kwa vifaa vya kujengea choo na nyumba za waganga vinavyotakiwa kujengwa na serikali kwa ushirikiano na wananchi kwa mujibu wa makubaliano kuwa wamechelewa kukamilisha vitu hivyo.

MABILIONI YA PESA BUKOBA

Ni yale yanayotumika kukamilisha ujenzi wa mradi wa maji safi katika manispaa ya Bukoba.

Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa BUWASA,  mhandisi Chaggaka Kalimbia amesema wateja elfu 87 katika manispaa ya Bukoba  wanatarajiwa kuunganishiwa huduma ya maji safi na Mamlaka ya maji safi na usafi wa mazingira -BUWASA- ifikapo Juni mwaka huu,  baada ya kukamilika kwa mradi mkubwa wa maji.

Amesema kuwa baada ya wateja hao  kuunganishiwa, watakuwa wanapokea maji kutoka kwenye tanki zilizojengwa eneo la Kashura na Magoti, na kuwa tanki hizo zitakuwa na uwezo wa kubeba lita milioni tatu na laki saba.

Mhandisi Kalimbia amefafanua kuwa  kufikiwa kwa wateja hao, matumizi ya maji katika manispaa ya Bukoba yataongezeka hadi kufikia lita milioni 11 laki mbili na elfu 37 kwa siku tofauti na lita milioni nane na laki mbili kwa sasa.

Amesema  kukamilika kwa mradi huo, kutawezesha  kuzifikia kata nne ambazo zilikuwa hazijafikiwa huduma ya maji safi na salama, ambazo ni Kagondo, Kahororo, Nyanga na Buhembe.

Mkurugenzi huyo amesema kuwa hadi kukamilika kwa mradi huo zaidi ya shilingi   Bilioni 27 milioni 528   na laki tatu   zinatarajiwa kutumika.
